ABOUT STAGEWHISPERS

StagewhisperS^© is dedicated to live theatre, and the production companies and local actors within a 2 and 1/2 hour radius of Binghamton. Its access and use is totally free to all ~ professional and non-professional theatres and the public.

This website is a non-profit, community project. It is completely owned and created by my efforts, and is under no obligation to any theater group, foundations or advertisers. I pay my own fees to create, host and maintain this website, accepting contributions from those who wish to keep this resource growing.

StagewhisperS^©   was conceived in January of 2007, and was, at  first, a part of my own personal website. It immediately began to expand and before I knew it, I found it necessary to make a website just for its purposes. I'm very glad I did. Now with over 65 theatre companies listed and more than 1000 email listings, StagewhisperS^© is growing by leaps and bounds!

Google "stagewhispers" and you'll find it's number one in the listings! The same occurs at the other top search engines.  www.yahoo.com, www.aol.com, www.msn.com and at www.lycos.com as well, which includes the mention and links to several actors' bios at StagewhisperS^©! To be listed on the first page, much less the first listing, is quite an achievement, and it means that many people are checking out my site and checking out who's on it!

Theatre Companies, I ask again that you please inform your actors that they have a free resource to upload their headshots and resumes online. ACTORS

The Actors' page consists of a Photo gallery of Actors with links to their individual pages providing head shots and bios for agents, directors and theater companies.

It's no secret that actors are notorious for waiting until the last minute to put their resumes in order, and at times it can be a daunting process and a pain in the cervix as well, which only serves to offer another great reason to put your info up at StagewhisperS^©. Once it's up, it's there always ...to link to, copy/paste and forward in an email, or print it out, send to anyone you wish or bring with you to your next audition! You only need to update your latest acting appearance simply by sending the information to me. Got more than one photo? No problem, you can have up to 10 photos on your personal page, AND, the best part about it ...did I mention ...IT'S ALL FREE?

Webmasters, if you haven't done so already, wherever and whenever you can, I would very much appreciate your company's website placing a reciprocal link to the StagewhisperS^© website. The same would apply to any actors or backstage techies who have personal websites, or belong to Yahoo, AOL or other online social groups or have a personal blog space...mention StagewhisperS^© ! The more links, the more hits, the more hits, the more people see your information!

Spread the word, tell your theatre loving  family and friends about StagewhisperS^© and have them send me (mailto:info@stagewhispers.net) their email addresses so they can receive the weekly updates! (StagewhisperS^© keeps all addresses confidential and they are never shared with any third parties!)
