Sending Theatrical
announcements to Stagewhispers!
Attaching a plain text file, or attaching a Microsoft Word document is pretty much the safest route. Word Perfect and PDF files are more work for me than I like to have to contend with, if I can avoid them.
Attaching JPG, JPEG, BMP, and GIF images works too. Should you need to send many files, which include pictures and documents, I can download .zip or .rar files as well, and extract them accordingly.

It is not, however, necessary to have a website, to be listed at Stagewhispers, but if you do have a website, but don't have a logo for it, I will create a temporary logo for you until you have one you'd prefer to use.

Auditions for the Ti-Ahwaga
Community Players' production of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest" will be held
on July 27 and July 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the Ti-Ahwaga Performing Arts Center, 42
Delphine Street, Owego.
Parts are available for 12 adult males and 4 adult females.
Male roles include the physically demanding lead role of charming rogue Randle
P. McMurphy (age 30-50); the large, muscled narrator Chief Bromden (age 30-45);
two aides; and seven patients of all ages with minor to major roles.
Female roles include the cool and detached Nurse Ratched (age 30-50); the
nervous and aloof Nurse Flinn (age 20-40); and two girls in their twenties out
for a good time, Candy Starr and Sandra.
Auditioners should prepare a monologue and be prepared to do a reading from the
script. Rehearsals begin Aug. 16 and performance dates are Oct. 1,2,3, 8,9,10
and 15,16,17. Call Sandy Knapp-Dunbar at 687-2130 to schedule an appointment.

Auditioners should prepare a song.
A haunting musical version of Robert Louis Stevensons novel. In 1880s London, Dr
Henry Jekyll attempts to banish the negative aspects of the human personality.
But his formula unleashes his evil alter ego, Edward Hyde, who goes on a rampage
of murder and terror. This is the Broadway musical by Frank Wildhorn, Leslie
Bricusse, and Steve Cuden.

Would you like to add your show dates to Curtains Up?
Submit your advertisement INFORMATION (flyer or poster) containing the name of your Theater Group, the name of the show and your director.
Include the Date: Time, Location, & Ticket Prices no later than two weeks before your opening night. (I will copy/paste your info, so if it's in error it will be yours, not mine.)
You are also welcomed to merely send a basic announcement and I'll put that up along with a LINK to your website for further details.
This is a FREE service and is done when I have the time to do it, so I cannot make guarantees as to having your announcements up in time. Accuracy of show dates and times will be copy/pasted from the material you send, so it is up to you to get them right!
All professional and non-professional theater groups, on my Theatre Companies listing, are welcomed to advertise.

If you are NOT on that page and would like to be, and if your group lies within 2 1/2 hours of Binghamton by car, write to me and send me your info!
Shows that share the same dates will be listed alphabetically by Theater Group, excepting the word “the”.
“The Brighton Players”, for example, would go before “Salisbury Community Theater”.
EXCEPTION
If shows share ‘split’ dates, the show that goes up first, will be listed ahead of the other.
