The Marvelous Wonderettes - Written and created by Roger Bean. Directed by Dan Tursi with music direction by Dan Williams. The story is set 1958 Springfield High School prom where we meet the Wonderettes - Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy and Suzy, four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts and voices to match! As we learn about their lives and loves, we are treated to the girls performing classic 50's and 60's songs.“Lollipop,”“Dream Lover,” “Stupid Cupid,” “Lipstick on Your Collar,” “Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me,” “It’s My Party,” “It’s In His Kiss (The Shoop Shoop Song)” and so many more! You’ve never had this much fun at a prom and you will never forget THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES - a must-take musical trip down memory lane!
Thursday 2/16, Friday 2/17 and Saturday 2/18 at 8 PM at Appleseed Productions (Atonement Ministries) Thursday 2/23, Friday 2/24, Saturday 2/25 at 8 PM and Sunday 2/26 at 2 PM at Rarely Done Productions (Jazz Central) Ticket prices $25 for all performances! This is a joint fundraiser for Appleseed & Rarely Done.
