Robbie Rozelle

 

 

ROBBIE ROZELLE is a musical theatre enthusiast and all-around Renaissance Man. Most recently an Assistant Stage Manager for the all-star World AIDS Day concert of The Secret Garden, Robbie’s directing credits include Agnes Of God, Chess, Evita, A Christmas Carol, Cabaret and the world premiere of The Pied Piper Curse, one of the highlights of his life. Performing credits include You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Inherit The Wind, Hair, The Wizard Of Oz, The Baltimore Waltz, West Side Story, Kiss Me, Kate, Jekyll & Hyde, The Mousetrap and Guys & Dolls. Robbie is a past president of The Ithaca Players, former Artistic Director of Ovation Productions, has served on the board of the Binghamton Stage Company and has directed at The Firehouse Theatre (Ithaca), Cornell University and Binghamton University. Robbie is recording his first cd, "I Have Found." Robbie is a celebrated theatre interviewer, having interviewed such luminaries as Christine Andreas (twice), Ed Begley Jr., Betty Buckley, George Bugatti, Carolee Carmello, Barbara Carroll, Stephen Cole, Jerry Herman, Michael John LaChiusa, Rebecca Luker, Michelle Nicastro, Bob Ost, Emily Skinner and the legendary Elaine Stritch. Robbie is a former contributer to BroadwayStars, worked with Broadway record label Fynsworth Alley, and is currently an assistant at PS Classics, a record label devoted to the legacy of musical theatre. In 1995, Robbie created the Carrie The Musical website. Robbie heads Ghostlight Design, the "go-to" web and print design company for many of Broadway and Cabaret's top performers Robbie has had a long professional association with Bill Manos, and holds the moments that Barbara Cook called him an "adorable young man" and Elaine Stritch calling him "sweetie pie" as the greatest personal words he has ever heard. His life-long dream is to produce a solo album from Carolee Carmello.
