THR 246 01, Rehearsal & Performance for Stage, at Broome Community College, Binghamton, NY.  Casting, rehearsing and acting in made-for-stage drama and comedy scripts.  3 credit hours. Grade:  A

 

THR 218 01, Acting III, at Broome Community College in Binghamton, NY. 

Exploration and practice of more advanced acting methods to continue the study of acting in greater depth. Scene presentations and accompanying written analysis. 3 credit hours.  Grade:  A

 

Shakespeare Workshop, through the Goodwill Theatre.  10-hour intensive taught by Rosemary Hay formerly of the Royal Shakespeare Company.

 

Shakespearian Literature and Drama

Reading, viewing and discussion of several Shakespeare plays with actor and director Lisa Wujnovich.  Dramatic costumed reading.  Rehearsal, costuming and acting in production of excerpts of Hamlet at Mountain Dell Farm.

 

Also:  Viewed “Acting Shakespeare”, a series of programs by the BBC on Shakespearean acting taught by John Barton and featuring members of the Royal Shakespeare Company.  Teen acting workshops at the Cider Mill Theater with Mark Roth.  Acting workshop with Judy McMahon.  Extensive study of Shakespeare’s plays (viewed and/or read 20 plays) and sonnets as part of homeschooling studies.
